Peterborough police say a cat shot by an arrow was found injured in the driveway of a home near Millbrook. The animal had to be euthanized as a result of its injuries.

Police say an officer approached a man who had fallen and saw he was trying to conceal a firearm. The man refused to listen to the officer’s demands, prompting a gunpoint arrest.

Peterborough police are linking a man who was arrested on Tuesday for indecent assault with similar incidents that occurred over the weekend.

The police reported that an officer on patrol identified a suspicious vehicle that had been part of an ongoing investigation by another police agency. Four individuals in the vehicle were taken into custody.

Emergency teams arrived at a reported crash on Ackison Road, just north of Parkhill Road West, around 11:15 p.m. on Thursday.
