An unidentified man was killed in a suspected hit-and-run incident at the Mile 2 area of Lagos State.
It happened on Friday night at around 9:30 pm along the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway near the Ballet bus stop across from Pinnacle Filling Station.
Olusegun, an eyewitness, said the person was hit by a vehicle that then quickly drove away.
However, a bystander contacted the emergency response team, which arrived promptly.
The team, led by Mr. Christopher Okudibe, came around 6:15 am on Saturday to remove the body.
He mentioned, “The accident occurred suddenly, and the driver did not stop. The emergency response team was notified and promptly arrived in the morning around 6:15 am.”
According to the eyewitness, a video showed three team members placing the wrapped body into their vehicle.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Police Command, stated that the incident has not yet been reported.
He said, “I am not aware of the case as it has not been reported yet.”
