A Federal High Court in Abuja has delayed the tax evasion case involving Binance Holdings Limited and its executives.
The Federal Inland Revenue Service took the firm to court over tax evasion.
Tigran Gambaryan and Nadeem Anjarwalla, officials of the company, are also involved in the case.
Binance was accused of not registering with the FIRS to pay relevant taxes in the case marked: FHC/ABJ/CR/115/2024.
The FIRS alleged that Binance failed to issue invoices to subscribers for the purpose of determining and paying its Value Added Taxes, despite offering taxable services on its trading platform.
The case was adjourned because the FIRS couldn't serve Gambaryan the charges while in EFCC custody.
The alleged money laundering case by the EFCC is ongoing.
