A part of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital caught on fire on Thursday.
A message on the hospital’s X handle stated that the fire began at the Information and Communications Technology Unit of the hospital.
In the statement, it was mentioned that a small fire began at the Information and Communications Technology Unit of the hospital at around 2pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
The fire service arrived quickly, and the fire has been completely extinguished. No one was hurt.
The public and the hospital's clients are being assured that all necessary steps are being taken to keep them safe.
Currently, an investigation is being conducted to find out the cause of the fire and to evaluate the extent of damage to the hospital facilities.
