Police are attempting to find a person of interest following an incident in which a man was cut with a sharp object in north Toronto earlier this week.
According to Toronto police, officers were called to the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue West area at approximately 8 a.m. on Monday in response to a reported stabbing.
Law enforcement stated that four individuals entered a building and proceeded to the victim’s place of business.
The police reported, "There was an altercation inside the business involving the four perpetrators and the victim."
"The perpetrators fled the scene."
The victim, a man, pursued the individuals and managed to catch up with one of them, police mentioned.
The man was then cut on his upper arm.
He was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The circumstances leading to the altercation remain unknown.
Law enforcement indicated that they are currently seeking to identify a woman who is described as 19 to 21 years old, standing at five-foot-five with a slim build and black hair.
